Shree Swaminarayan Yuvak Mandal (SSYM) is proud to announce the imminent launch of our learning syllabus framework, allowing the youth across the UK & Australia to actively learn & grow from a humanitarian, life skill & spiritual perspective. At this stage, the framework and learning roadmap will be geared towards ages 6 to 16 years, with teams across the globe working together for almost 2 years in delivering such a unique & life-enhancing programme.
Our Beloved Lord Swaminarayan’s vision remains to impart ultimate happiness to all living beings in this world & beyond. Enjoyment, development and togetherness are just some of the core principles on which this programme is being built, all with the blessings and guidance of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan, Bhuj Mahant Swami & esteemed Vadil Santo.

No. We believe in providing an environment to feel and experience using techniques & learning mediums that inspire from within. Spirituality and life skills are much better developed through a collective learning medium, providing individuals with answers, guidance, and inspiration to progress ahead.
It makes no difference. SSYM Svadhyay is designed to be fit for purpose, with teachers trained to manage language barriers to ensure none of the excitement and learning is diminished.
The Syllabus will never push formal homework and instead encourage small pockets of key lesson takeaways that connect one lesson to the next, in providing an enhanced learning roadmap. It’s more about thinking and feeling the key lesson outputs to maintain development from within.
Although SSYM Svadhyay has been structured in a lesson plan format to support the teachers, the medium of teaching can vary from PowerPoint presentations, workshops, activities and discussions to dramas, games and technology driven initiatives such as videos & music.
As mentioned, it will promote the development of core interpersonal skills, as well as key life skills. Coupled with this, spiritual enhancement we feel is focal in allowing one to really feel the strength and benefits of practising Hinduism. Thus, this programme will be diverse in its approach without losing any of the key development objectives.
